Postcards on this page:
The image above shows the T-Town Postcard Club's postcard for the 2005 National Postcard Week. Since Route 66 passes through Tulsa, and Cyrus Avery (the father of Route 66) was from Tulsa, most of our past Postcard Week cards feature Route 66. This card is multicolored and measures 6 x 4 1/4".  The artwork is by Rick Geary. The cards are available for purchase at $2.00 each (postpaid), or $5.00 for a set of four cards postpaid from various years (all cards have a connection with Route 66). Mail your request to T-Town Postcard Club, P 0 Box 700334, Tulsa, OK 74170-0334.

The postcard on the right is from 1913. Tulsa is well known as the "Oil Capital of the World" but before oil was king Tulsa also produced a lot of coal. This card illustrates the importance of postcards in preserving the history of an area.
